DESCRIPTION:Point in Time Count takes place every year. Federal funds for housing and services for the unhoused community are tied to the number of individuals that we are able to survey. When local government and agencies talk about the issue\, they cite this number – the more member of the unhoused community that are counted\, the harder it is to ignore the issue of housing\, and the more money we can get to fund services.
