DESCRIPTION:Cricket Wireless will be tabling in our lobby on Monday (3/27)from 11:00am-2:00pm to assist clients with limited income sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program to potentially receive a free phone or lower the cost of cellphone services. \nWhat is the Affordable Connectivity Program? The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program that helps lower the monthly cost of broadband service for eligible households. Eligible households may get up to a $30 benefit on their eligible mobile broadband service. Eligible households who live on federally recognized Tribal Lands may get up to a $75 benefit on their eligible mobile broadband service. Only one benefit per household\, not per person\, is allowed\, and the benefit may only be applied to one broadband service\, regardless of service provider. You may qualify if they meet one of the three (3) eligibility criteria: \n\nSomeone in the household participate in one of the following federal assistance programs:\nSupplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)\, formerly known as Food Stamps\nMedicaid\nSupplemental Security Income (SSI)\nFederal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)\nNational School Lunch Program\nFederal Pell Grant\nVeterans Pension and Survivors Benefit\nThe Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women\, Infants\, and Children (WIC)\nIf a household member lives on federally recognized Tribal Lands: Bureau of Indian Affairs general assistance; Tribally administered\nTemporary Assistance for Needy Families; Head Start (for those households meeting its income qualifying standard); or the Food\nDistribution Program on Indian Reservations\nIf your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines\nYou qualify for the Lifeline program
