Community Action and its partners are working hard to keep people safe during COVID-19. An ongoing partnership with the Skagit Family YMCA is adapting to provide shower access to individuals experiencing homelessness during the pandemic.
Individuals needing access to showers should call Community Action at 360-416-7585 to be assigned a time slot for a shower in one of 4 private shower rooms. Soap and shampoo are provided, and towels will be handed out and then collected to wash by Y staff.
Shower timeslots are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3pm. Each person will be assigned a specific 25 minute time slot. Please be on time so we do not create a situation where people are waiting and/or congregating. Read more here.
