Families and individuals come to us needing items vital for health and life: food, toiletries, jackets, tents, sleeping bags, gas for a car to get to work – you name it, and we’ve tried to connect people with what they need to get ahead. Previously, community members, churches, civic clubs and others generously ran donation drives to provide basic need items for us to give away.
Due to COVID-19, we are now doing things a little differently. Click the learn more button below to see if we can find a placement for your donation.
Together, we are making a difference in the lives of 1 in 3 people in Skagit County. Click the link below to learn more about our programs and services and the impact you have on those in your community.
Looking for other volunteer opportunities in the community? Check out our free service, the Skagit Volunteer Center, for volunteer opportunities with 160+ nonprofit organizations. At this time, only Essential Services should be operating volunteer programs. Note the COVID-19 guidelines for volunteers and organizations, to make sure you are volunteering in a way that protects your health and safety, as well as that of all other community members.
