What’s HOT this Summer? Free A/C & Energy Assistance!
About: Consumer prices are skyrocketing, and rent is unaffordable in Skagit County. The cost of heating, cooling, and keeping the lights on is just going up. Learn about one of the most widely available resources to help families get ahead. A family of four can make over $5,700 per month and still qualify for a credit for future bills — they don’t need to be behind on their bills! Find out about how Community Action’s Energy & Utility Assistance works, and how to make good referrals. Together, we’re helping our neighbors be heroes for their families by making every penny count.

About the Brunch & Learn:
Join us from 9-10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month for “Virtual Brunch & Learn with Community Action!” Back in “The Beforetimes”, Community Action hosted monthly Lunch & Learn sessions for our partners, volunteers, staff, donors and anyone else interested to: 1) Learn about a community need, 2) what the community is doing to solve it together, and 3) Community Action’s role. In 2023 we’ll look at hunger and food security, housing and homelessness, services for seniors and kids, and much more! Bring your coffee or tea and a snack to this virtual coffee break, and join us!
