Skagit AmeriCorps VISTA

AmeriCorps VISTA is a 12-month National Service Program focusing on antipoverty initiatives. Members are placed at partner agencies for 40 hours a week, receive a modest living stipend, professional development training, and at the end of their year of service will receive either an educational award to put toward past educational expenses or to future expenses or an end of year cash stipend. Our AmeriCorps VISTA members work closely with non-profit agencies in the community to directly impact the needs of low-income Skagitonians.
